After graduating from university, I worked in the hospitality and tourism industry for several years. I enjoyed my career, which was able to provide me the quality life I wanted.

Life has been smooth sailing until a sudden redundancy happened in my department. This has made me rethink my job, my career development, my future, and the urge to make a change. To achieve the future I pictured, I better make good use of the savings I had to generate some passive income. Knowing property investment was a good option to bring wealth in the long run, I decided to invest in property.

There were so many properties in the market, to narrow down the search, I found it much easier to set a realistic goal and work backwards from there to develop my plan. After making the plan and setting a clear target, I locked in the price and type of property to look for. In 2017, I bought my first property with confidence. Throughout the whole process of property research and study, I found my passion in the industry. I started to attend property seminars, tag along to property project training by renowned developers and industry training by industry leaders and experts, and became a qualified Property Strategist to help clients plan for their own investment strategies.

Today, I have a portfolio with multiple properties, which have helped me generate positive cash flows and eased my financial stress during the Covid pandemic. With the peace of mind that I have some financial security in place, I can now work less and have more time to enjoy the things I like such as travelling, hiking, good food and helping others to achieve their financial goals through property investment.

In addition to English, I speak fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.

I am a mother of two beautiful children. I work hard to create a better life for my family. Since my children were born, our life has become more challenging. In order to look after my family, I made a difficult decision to reduce my work hours. Unfortunately, with less income and more mouths to feed, we couldn’t improve our standard of living and the overall situation. My gut told me that it was time for a change.

At that time, our main priorities were to increase cash flow and arrange a good school for our children. Our original plan was to sell our home and purchase a house in a good school district. If we earned extra cash from the sale, we would use it for property investment. However, the houses we were able to afford were not in good condition, and we didn’t have enough budget for renovation, which meant our living situation would go backwards. After receiving professional property analysis and evaluation, we were inspired to rent a house in the ideal school district area and transform our house into an investment property, which resolved both concerns immediately. Meanwhile we used the equity from our home as a deposit for our upcoming investment property.

This small but significant change was where I started my property investment journey from. I switched my focus to real estate investment and worked towards our end goal - financial freedom.

In the past few years, I have accumulated extensive experience in the real estate industry. With a background in accounting and marketing, I hope to share my skills and professional knowledge with more people in need. I am grateful to have helped many families and individuals over these years by personalising their investment portfolios and clarifying their investment goals.
